Harold Montas | Born in April of 2003 in the Dominican Republic. Charlene Montas | Born in August of 2000 in the Dominican Republic. Quite an unusual site in the DR; three white kids- makes me think we carry some other nationality in our blood. We lived in the DR until we were 9 and 11, we had the privilege to see a great many things at a very young age; things like snow!, the changing seasons, the English language, America in general, and geography through travel to beautiful places with unique feelings like the Arizona desert in the early morning hours, the crisp and vibrant environment of Sequoia and redwood trees in Oregon and California, the raw harsh yet beautiful Alaskan tundra just as it transitions from winter to spring, and the accurate depiction of northwestern cowboy life in movies like Rango and Dances with Wolves.
