Friday means Chapolín 🇮🇨🎱

And our little Chapolín group is getting bigger every time!

Another great Friday playing Chapolín Canario, with a few familiar faces and some new ones joining in. Even local player Henrique came along again for a few games — always great to have people who know the game well showing us a few things.

We're still learning, still trying new shots, still missing some very easy ones 😂 — but most importantly, we're having a great time together.

What started as a couple of friends playing Chapolín is slowly turning into a regular little pool crew.

More players, more games, more laughs.

🎱 FRIDAY = CHAPOLÍN! 🇮🇨

Another Friday, another game of Chapolín Canario with Adam and Dave at Atrezpoolcafe. 🍻🎱

We're still learning this unique local game — and that's what makes it so much fun! Every session we understand a little more, try new shots and, of course, make a few very questionable ones. 😂

In this video I explain a couple of the rules we've been learning, including the 3-rail challenge around the triangle to determine who gets to break, and the different break used in Chapolín.

Good shots, easy misses, plenty of laughs — and we're slowly getting the hang of it. 😎

Seguimos aprendiendo este juego tan especial de Canarias — ¡y eso es precisamente lo que lo hace tan divertido! Cada partida aprendemos un poco más, probamos nuevos tiros y, por supuesto, hacemos también alguno que otro bastante cuestionable. 😂

En este vídeo explico algunas de las reglas que estamos aprendiendo, como el reto de las 3 bandas alrededor del triángulo para decidir quién empieza rompiendo, y el tipo de saque diferente que se utiliza en Chapolín.

The Arizona Open Pool Championship is underway in Yuma, Arizona — and the WNT field is bringing some serious fire to the table.

Top players, big shots and plenty of pressure as the tournament runs August 13–16 at the Quechan Casino Resort.

We love seeing the best players in the world battle it out. It’s a great reminder of just how much skill, precision and consistency this game demands. 🎱

El Arizona Open Pool Championship ya está en marcha en Yuma, Arizona, y el nivel del WNT está siendo espectacular.

Nos encanta ver a los mejores jugadores del mundo competir al máximo nivel. Una buena muestra de todo lo que requiere el pool: técnica, precisión y mucha consistencia. 🎱

Having a pool table at home just hits different.

No booking. No waiting. No pressure.

Just grab a cue, try that crazy shot you've been thinking about, miss it horribly 😂, laugh about it and try again.

Sometimes you practice. Sometimes you experiment. Sometimes you string a few balls together and suddenly feel like a pro.

And sometimes… you just play with friends and have a great time.

That’s what I love about having a table at home — you can play whenever you want, however you want. ❤️🎱

Pool is not always about playing perfect. It’s about enjoying the game.

🎱 Chapolín Canario nights are becoming a thing!

Another round of Chapolín Canario with a group of friends at Atrezpoolcafe — and honestly, this is what makes the game so much fun.

Some shots were really nice…
Some were definitely easier than they looked. 😂
But there were plenty of laughs, a bit of competition, and a lot of good pool.

That's what I love about Chapolín: you don't need to take it too seriously. Grab a few friends, get around a table and give it a go. 🎱

We're planning to do this every couple of weeks, so if you're in Tenerife and fancy learning the game or joining us for a few games, come along!

Otra partida de Chapolín Canario con un grupo de amigos en Atrezpoolcafe — y sinceramente, esto es lo que hace que este juego sea tan divertido.

Algunos tiros salieron muy bien…
Y otros que parecían fáciles acabaron en fallo. 😂
Pero hubo muchas risas, un poco de competición y mucho buen billar.

Eso es lo que me gusta del Chapolín: no hace falta tomárselo demasiado en serio. Junta a unos amigos, busca una mesa y ¡a jugar! 🎱

Tenemos pensado hacerlo cada dos semanas, así que si estás en Tenerife y te apetece aprender el juego o simplemente echar unas partidas con nosotros, ¡vente!
