I’m still undecided which version I prefer.

MH05 TANK Metal on the PAM390. The strap on the watch is stitched in olive, while the flat lay is stitched with grey thread.

The to***co dial already brings plenty of warmth. Olive leans into that and gives the strap more character. Grey cools the whole pairing down and feels cleaner, more understated.

Same leather. Same construction. Just a change in thread, and the personality shifts quite a bit.

I still really like this leather. Warm golden-brown tones, darker edges, visible grain, and a surface that gains patina once it starts picking up wear.

Each strap is custom handmade to order, one at a time, with the dimensions, thickness and finishing adjusted around the watch and wrist.

This is what good leather is supposed to do.

The same Horween Shell Cordovan strap I showed previously, only now with some real life behind it — sweat, dirt, hardware marks and plenty of time on the wrist.

Shell cordovan doesn’t need to stay pristine. The surface settles, darkens and picks up character with wear. If anything, I think this one looks better now than when it was new.

Built to be worn.

Sometimes contrast works better than stealth.

Vintage Edition To***co on the PAM979 Carbotech. The warm, worn-in character of the leather cuts through the black case and gives the watch a completely different presence on the wrist.
