Euge Erno Valovirta Valovirta wanted to update his Neural DSP Quad Cortex board to have easy access to a spare unit (Quad Cortex Mini). While the board was on my bench we decided to replace every single cable with a soldered one and took out the old solderless cables.

I came up with a simple box to route the signal to either the main unit (QC) or the spare unit (QC Mini) with a toggle switch. Now if the main unit goes down all Euge has to do is flick the switch and the signal routes instantly to the spare unit.

The spare unit is connected to the main board with a simple 1m loom with one TS-cable and one 12VDC-cable.

• Neural DSP Quad Cortex (Main)
• Neural DSP Quad Cortex Mini (Spare)

I custom designed and 3D-printed an interface box for easy bypass of the older version of the GLXD wireless. Wireless is routed straight to the input of the Nano Cortex unless Arttu plugs the cable in to the input jack of the Interface box! Clean and simple 😮‍💨👌
