🧡 THANK YOU, INVERARAY! 🧡

What a brilliant weekend at Inveraray Castle! 🏰

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Copper Hue gazebo for a chat, had a nosey at our creations, and of course to those who gave some of our one-of-a-kind pieces their new forever homes 🥰 It genuinely means so much to us. Exclusively Highlands picked a beautiful location for the event and I’m a huge Downtown Abbey fan so I was in my element being here where part of the series was filmed 🩷

Our little robin visitor even popped back on Sunday 🐦… although he clearly wasn’t interested in posing for a photo this time — far too busy hoovering up everyone’s dropped crumbs from the mouth watering food trucks we had on site 🤣 We’re now taking a little break from stalls until 31st October — but don’t worry, Copper Hue certainly isn’t taking a break! 😆

The workshop is going to be VERY busy over the next few weeks as we replenish stock ready for our winter events, while finishing and delivering commission pieces already underway. 🔨💡🧡 So for now, the gazebo is packed away & the workshop is calling…

Thank you again Inveraray & Exclusively Highlands — beautiful place, lovely people and a fabulous weekend had along side our stall holder family 🏰🧡

We’ll see you back out on the road from 31st October till 20th December, where and when will be posted, however until then we’ll be sharing plenty of what’s happening behind the scenes at Copper Hue.

Good morning from Day 2 at Inveraray Castle!🏰🧡

The drizzle has disappeared (woohoo! 🥳), it’s a wee bit chilly, but with views like these we really can’t complain!

We had such a lovely day yesterday and were absolutely delighted to see several of our one-of-a-kind Copper Hue creations heading off to their forever homes 🥰💡🧡 There’s nothing better than seeing something that was once forgotten or destined for scrap begin another chapter with someone who loves it.

We’re all set up again today with Exclusively Highlands and our little resident robin has already popped by this morning to check we turned up for Day 2 🐦🤣 — sadly he caught me without my phone, so no photographic evidence this time!

🏰🧡 GOOD MORNING FROM INVERARAY CASTLE! 🧡🏰

We’re here with Exclusively Highlands, we’re set up… and yes, it’s giving us the full Scottish experience this morning — a wee bit drizzly, a wee bit misty, but the sun IS trying its very best to make an appearance! 😂🌦️

We honestly can’t complain about the view though 😍 Mist rolling over the hills, Highland cattle grazing nearby and the absolutely stunning Inveraray Castle as our backdrop… not a bad office for the weekend!

We’ve even had our first visitor of the day — although we’re not entirely convinced he was here to buy a lamp. 🤣🐦

This curious wee robin came right over to investigate what these strange humans were doing on his patch and even wandered into the Copper Hue stand for a closer inspection. 😂

We’re taking that as official approval from the locals. ✔️🐦

We’re here today and tomorrow 10am till 4pm with lots of our one-of-a-kind repurposed lighting creations looking for their new homes, so if you’re visiting Inveraray Castle this weekend, come and say hello 👋

✨ FROM THE WORKSHOP TO INVERARAY CASTLE… 🏰✨

There’s been a little bit of magic happening in the Copper Hue workshop this week… 👀

These beauties have been in the making, with Gary putting the finishing touches to them as we speak — but they’ll be making their way from the workshop straight to Inveraray Castle event with Exclusively Highlands this weekend! 🧡

From bottles that have already lived one life, to glasses and copper pieces waiting to become something completely different… we love taking forgotten treasures and giving them a whole new purpose. ♻️✨

And because no two Copper Hue creations are ever quite the same, you’ll have to pop along and see what they become! 😉

✨ A HUGE THANK YOU FROM COPPER HUE! ✨

What a weekend at Crathes Castle with Exclusively Highlands 🏰✨

We just wanted to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along, stopped by our stall, had a chat, admired our creations and, of course, took a little piece of Copper Hue home with you. 🧡

It was so lovely meeting so many wonderful people, hearing your comments and seeing our upcycled creations finding new homes. 🥰 Every purchase, conversation, smile and bit of support means more to us than you know!

Our Wi-Fi may have been having a complete meltdown 😂🙈, so we couldn’t get our usual posts out or take some card payments whilst we were there — but that certainly didn’t stop us having a fantastic weekend!

And now… we’re off to another castle! 🏰😁

I was very kindly gifted these today by Val's Scottish Tablet Treats to try and my what a moth watering treat 💜, homemade individually wrapped Caramels launch with Berry Royale made with Perthshire Honeyberries, they are so tasty and not overly sweet either as I can’t have sweet treats since a life changing operation a few yrs ago as I get very unwell so to be able to have a sweetie I can enjoy is just so nice and I will be stocking up 🥳 & highly recommend 💜, so thank you so much Val & to The Duke for my special bottled water 🥰

🏰✨ COPPER HUE HAS LANDED AT CRATHES CASTLE! ✨🏰 our first time at this event with Exclusively Highlands, We’re here till Sunday, we’re set up, the lights are shining and we’re OPEN! 🧡🔧💡

We’ve brought a whole collection of our completely unique, upcycled creations with us this weekend — from vintage bottles and cameras to musical instruments, whisky memorabilia and plenty of copper goodness. Every piece is handmade in our workshop and given a whole new lease of life… because at Copper Hue, we like our lights with a little bit of history, a little bit of character and a LOT of personality! 😍, And of course, we couldn’t come to Crathes without bringing one of our fur baby members of the team…

🐾 DOT — GAZEBO SECURITY 🐾 She has already inspected the entire stand, checked the merchandise and is currently taking her security responsibilities very seriously. 🤣🤣, so if your coming out to see who’s here craft & food wise stop by and say hi 👋 and let us know what can Copper Hue do for you? 🧡

🏰✨ COPPER HUE IS HEADING TO CRATHES CASTLE TOMORROW! ✨🏰

Today we pack up the truck 🛻 and are heading to the beautiful location at Crathes Castle event with Exclusively Highlands — and we’re bringing some VERY special pieces with us! 🧡

A few little sneak peeks… 👀👇

⚡ A vintage valve voltmeter given a whole new lease of life as a unique Copper Hue lamp.

🔭 A beautiful pair of vintage binoculars, transformed into a one-of-a-kind light, complete with our little nod to Paris 1900.

🤿 And then there’s this absolute beast… a copper diving helmet brought back to life as a seriously special statement lamp! 🌊⚓

Every piece we make starts with something that has already had a life — we restore it, reimagine it and give it a brand-new purpose. ❤️

And because no two pieces of history are ever quite the same… every Copper Hue creation is completely unique.

🌱 Copper Hue planting a flower or two… 🌱

We don’t make our Copper Hue mascot lamps very often — most of the ones you see are created as commission pieces, and that’s exactly what makes them so special.

This particular Copper Hue was commissioned as a very special birthday gift for an avid gardener. Working closely with our customer, we brought the idea to life — reimagining and repurposing our little mascot into Copper Hue planting a flower or two. 🌻

Made from a lovely piece of reclaimed timber and 15mm copper pipe, this one is a great example of what we love about Copper Hue…

There really are no rules.

What can Copper Hue do next? 🤔
Play an instrument? Fix an old bike? Have a brew? Tend the garden? Or perhaps something completely bonkers that we haven’t thought of yet!
