This washing machine’s drain pump was badly clogged with debris. After repeated attempts to run the machine while blocked, the pump motor had burnt out, with burn marks visible in the second photo. 📸

Although the outside looked fine, the internal damage could have caused the light to stop working or become unsafe. It was taken out of service until it could be properly repaired or replaced.

The customer reported hearing the compressor repeatedly clicking on and off, while the fridge freezer wasn’t cooling properly.

After testing the appliance, the fault was traced to the compressor start relay/overload device. A replacement was fitted and the fridge freezer was tested, with the compressor starting and running correctly again. ✅
