This week I have been mainly gilding nuts… 😁 If you’d like some to hang on your tree, give as a present or put in your nut bowl (obvs nut bowl ones won’t have ribbons etc and I have gilded almonds and gilded Brazil nuts for your C’mas nut bowl too) get in touch. Available in 23.5 carat gold leaf or Dutch metal leaf. The picture shows the gold leaf. I’m not using the C word until at least November..

I love rural England and its traditions and peculiarities. One of the things I love most is an industrial tent at a local show. WRI and competitive jam making, flower arranging and the veg and kids section. I mean where else would you see HRH King Charles III and his “mirror” image (Have to say my favourite was bottom left. I’m sure His Majesty would agree.) next to massive onions, huge leeks, long carrots and parsnips.
