New chapter ✨

Today I start my apprenticeship with The Female Touch.

I am excited and a little nervous, but I am ready to embrace every challenge that comes my way.

Growth happens outside the comfort zone, and that’s exactly where I am.

Here’s to learning, improving, and proving to myself that it’s never too late to start something new 🪷

Ps I dreamt about my old job last night…funny what happens in the unconscious mind 🫪

Part 2 of my Level 2 Painting and Decorating course at Dulux Academy

Today we got to carry on in our own rooms. We had to paint 3 different colours… so lots of cutting in practice and rolling of walls which I needed as the last time wasn’t my finest 😂

Lining a wall was fun but those bubbles 😬 but I now know what I did wrong and how to rectify if this did happen again.

I was nervous at first but then I started to feel my confidence increase and to say I am proud of my finished room is an understatement.

I am so excited to take this into the real world and practice what I have learnt.

I would highly recommend this course. I feel so confident now which is what I lacked.

What a day….I got to roll some walls..😁

I was confident on the first coat but the final coat I could feel myself wobbling a bit and loosing confidence but I did it and it looked so good!

So nice to have Ria behind me all the way ✨
