We love seeing what our customers create with Appletons wool, and this is such a beautiful example of how stitching can bring stories to life. ❤️

These three gorgeous cushions were designed and stitched by Deborah Stuart for her grandchildren, each one telling a story from her imagination.

🐉 Baby dragons guarding gold in a cave
🌊 A mother dragon who became a sea serpent and went fishing for food
🌬️ A father dragon battling against the weather

What a wonderful way to share stories, creativity and family memories, while creating something that can be treasured for generations to come.

The finished cushions were beautifully made by Sarah Barns Needlework, bringing Deborah’s original designs to life.

We think these are rather special. 🧶✨
