AUSA Launches Player of the Month Award 🏆
The Ayr United Supporters Association is delighted to launch a new AUSA Player of the Month award, sponsored by Goldstone Wealth Management.
The new monthly award will give AUSA members the opportunity to recognise the Ayr United player they believe has made the biggest contribution during the previous month.
Voting will be open exclusively to AUSA members, with members receiving a link by email to cast their vote through an online poll.
The first vote will open on Monday 31 August, covering Ayr United’s performances during August, and will close at 8pm on Thursday 3 September.
Once voting has closed and the result has been verified, the winning player will receive the first AUSA Player of the Month trophy at Ayr United’s home match against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday 12 September.
As part of the initiative, AUSA hopes to give younger Ayr United supporters the chance to take part in the presentation, with the trophy being presented by either a junior AUSA member or a Panda Pal.
AUSA believes the new award will provide members with another meaningful way to have their say while helping strengthen the connection between supporters, players and the wider Ayr United community.
The Association is also delighted to welcome Goldstone Wealth Management as sponsor of the award.

The award is intended to remain firmly supporter-led, with AUSA members deciding the winner each month.
AUSA will work with Ayr United to help facilitate the presentation of the trophy and to make each monthly award a positive occasion for players and supporters alike.
How to vote
All current AUSA members will receive an email later today containing a link to the August Player of the Month vote.
Members will be asked to select the player they believe deserves to win the first award.
Voting opens today and closes at 8pm on Thursday 3 September.
Only votes submitted by AUSA members will be counted.
The result will be announced following the presentation of the award.

The Player of the Month vote is one of the benefits of AUSA membership and gives members a direct say in recognising Ayr United’s standout performers.
Supporters who would like to have their say in future Player of the Month votes are encouraged to join AUSA and become part of the Association.
