There are biological mothers, there are mothers of heart. There are mothers who work outside the home, there are mothers who work at home. We owe them all care, affection and teachings.

According to the astronomical definition of the seasons, today, Sunday 20 March at 3.33pm, (in the year 2022), is the official start of the Spring Equinox (also known as vernal Equinox), in the northern hemisphere.🌺🌎

The astronomical seasons consider the position of the Earth's orbit in relation to the Sun, to calculate the beginning of the seasons and can vary slightly from year to year.

But, if we look at the meteorological method, spring begins on March 1, and lasts until May 31 every year, with summer starting on June 1.

In this case, the year is split into four seasons of three full months each based on the Gregorian calendar.📅

Regardless of the type of method that each one prefers to take into account to determine the arrival of spring. We are sure that we are all glad that it has already arrived on this side of the hemisphere. Happy spring to everyone!.🌷🌼

...Global Recycling Day🌎🍃 was created in 2018 to help recognise, and celebrate, the importance recycling plays in preserving our precious primary resources and securing the future of our planet. It is a day for the world to come together and put the planet first.

The mission of Global Recycling Day, as set out by the Global Recycling Foundation, is twofold:

1. To tell world leaders that recycling is simply too important not to be a global issue, and that a common, joined up approach to recycling is urgently needed.

2. To ask people across the planet to think resource, not waste, when it comes to the goods around us – until this happens, we simply won’t award recycled goods the true value and repurpose they deserve.

Halloween 🎃 or Hallowe'en is the contraction of All Hallows 'evening (the eve of All Saints' Day) and is said to be largely influenced by Samhain, a Gaelic festival that it is celebrated on the 31st of October beginning at sunset and ending at sunset on the 1st of November
and which also marks the end of the harvest 👩‍🌾season and the start of the darker half of the year (winter).☃️

Halloween 🎃does not come from United States as today is believed; The celebration was brought to America in the 19th Century by Irish Catholic immigrants who arrived there 🚢 around 1846, This new cultural influence brought with it a melding of Irish and English traditions, and a new Americans culture was born. People began to dress up in costumes 👻👺and go house to house asking for food or money, a practice that eventually became today's "trick-or-treat" tradition.
There is some debate about the origin of jack-o'-lantern (or jack o'lantern), the carved pumpkin🎃, also associated with the Halloween holiday. One line suggests that the name comes from the reported phenomenon of strange lights flickering over peat bogs, called will-o'-the-wisps or jack-o'-lanterns, but the name is also tied to the Irish legend of Stingy Jack, a drunkard who bargains with Satan👹 and is doomed to roam the Earth with only a hollowed turnip to light his way.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the gold standard for sustainable🍃processing of textiles made from organically grown fibres (such as cotton or wool).
