📍 Ladybower Fisheries

Ladybower Fisheries is growing — and we’re looking for a committed, hands-on Weekend Fishery Manager to help lead operations during our busiest periods.

This is an outdoor, practical and varied role suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, thrives in all weather, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality angling experience.

What the role involves:

• Overseeing weekend operations
• Leading and supporting staff
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Opening and closing the site
• Fish welfare and stock monitoring
• Boat handling and supervising anglers
• General maintenance and upkeep
• Ensuring health & safety standards are met

We’re looking for someone who is:

✔ Reliable and punctual (early starts required)
✔ Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
✔ Physically fit and hands-on
✔ Organised and proactive
✔ Confident making decisions independently
✔ A positive team leader

Desirable (but not essential):
• Experience in fisheries, angling or outdoor leisure
• Boat handling experience
• First aid qualification
• A genuine passion for fly fishing

Hours:

Weekend role (with potential for additional weekday hours during busy periods). Flexibility essential.
