Wheels in Motion T-Shirt Lineup No.4 : GoodYear Viva I

For me, the best looking tri spokes ever made. Yes, the A3A are more well known... Yes, the R106 have the clean face... The design that GoodYear went with on the Viva is just so different.

It's almost like a heavy-metal esque A3D, adding some personality to builds like no other can. They are not easy to find, but i am happy to say I've sourced a fair few now, and every build they've landed on look amazing (not all featured photos are my sourced wheels)

One of my faves, ever hard to find, just awesome.

Wheels in Motion T-Shirt Lineup No.3 : Hoshino Racing Silhouette Group 5

Impul Racing was founded in 1980 by Kazuyoshi Hoshino, a driver for Nissan at the time.

Before creating a plethora of legendary race cars throughout the 80s and 90s, the very first product from Impul was the D01, released in their founding year.

The Hoshino Racing D01 and Silhouette Series has become a go to favourite recently in the world of mismatch sets. Having a flat faced wheel on the rear properly accentuates whatever is fitted at the front and always works well.

My personal favourite is the original engraved script as seen on Jack's Roadster, however it looked a bit boring on the blurred design soooo here we are with the Group 5 variant. Looks incredible on anything, including your back!

Wheels in Motion T-Shirt Lineup No.2 : River Side R101

Launched by River Side in 1978, the R101 is one of the lesser seen wheels in the JDM scene. Don't let this take away from the awesome design however.

It features the centre 4-point star as seen on other wheels, however nothing else, just webbing to give the shape some strength. Available in a multitude of fitments and widths, this wheel looks incredible on the small number of builds I have been able to dig out, and i hope to have my personal set rebuilt soon to run also.

Wheels in Motion T-Shirt Lineup No.1 : LongChamp XR-4.

First releasing in 1980, these wheels were designed by renowned Japanese wheel designers Suzuka and produced by Speed Star. The iconic design was made available in a plethora of fitments including PCD100 and PCD114.3, the former being highly sought after.

The iconic 6 spoke design looks at home on anything from your Kei Truck to Saloons, Coupes and Roadsters. The flat face makes for a properly deep dish, even in smaller sizes. Enjoy the wheel being showcased here.

Thanks to Ben Retro Sect for having the car on the stand throughout the day, was a great time and a long overdue catchup with the team 😄

Saw friends, put some Instagram names to faces, met some new people and almost had my eardrums blown out by the TWR... all in all a good day. Really enjoying these shows with some track action ongoing, makes the day fly by.
