I thought that I would have a bit of a freshen up with the things I put on my stall. So with gifting and selling quite a few of these I’ve started with cuddle cloths/burping cloths for babies!
After having rather sicky babies myself I wish to goodness I’d made some of these or in fact known about them.
They are super absorbent and the towelling is so snuggly. Easy to throw over your shoulder before picking up baby and there you have it a super snuggly cuddly absorbent cloth. As my daughter’s midwife said “these are way better than muslins as they soak up the icky, sicky way better than muslins!

This is a little personal one.
As you all know I’m a bit of a sucker for a vintage tablecloth. Well I was doing a market at The Bakehouse at Wick Farm and there was a lady selling tablecloths so I fell in love with this one and one other.
Today I had a window of opportunity so I made me a top whilst keeping the intricate hand crochet trim on it. A bit of tiny bias binding and a sewing machine eh voila!! ☺️☺️☺️

I have literally only just finished this M&Co camouflage jacket hence why the photos are inside..
Welcome to another peek inside my brain. 🤪 I’ve been wanting to do a tree of life on a jacket for such a long time and tah dah I’ve done it!!
On the front I’ve removed the breast pockets and covered them with a woodland material and I’ve used the same material as leaves on my tree on the back and on the bottom of the jacket.
This will be with me tomorrow at the Sovereign Centre Makers Market.

This weekend I shall be a bit busy busy! Saturday I shall be at the Weston Makers market in the Sovereign Centre. Sunday...

This weekend I shall be a bit busy busy!
Saturday I shall be at the Weston Makers market in the Sovereign Centre.
Sunday I will be at Highbridge for the Rotary Summer Fair. Exciting for me as it’s my first time there.

As you may know I like to mixy mixy materials on my jackets so this is no exception.
A Vintage Marks and Spencer tie with red flowers with a bit of blue on a double button blazer type DenimCo size 14 jacket. (from QVC dontcha know!)

Did you know how much material there is in a tie? Loads!

As you know I’ve been decorating and one of the things I was most scared about was putting a shelf up, in our en-suite, drilling through large wall tiles. Well I did it! Whoop! I put up the shelf and I have put a couple of bits on the shelf but the faux plant needed a little something else! 🤔
Cue a market yesterday and my next door neighbour at that market was Gifts by Granny and on her stall was THE perfect thing. A hand made, hand crocheted planter. The perfect size and it sets our shelf off a treat! Thank you Sharon it’s perfect!!
