A big thank you to everyone who took part and attended our 30th anniversary event last Sunday. It was great fun and we were super happy with how it went despite the best efforts of the weather!
Thanks to all the acts that gave their time for free to entertain and raise money for the Young Barnet Foundation.
They were in order of appearance:
The Sound Garden Music School pupils
Sweet Grains
Dave Cox with Tony Filby and Dave Sampson
The Serenity Club
Reckless Key Change
The Dream Mansion
Tim Leffman
Audio Giants
Finished off by various Music friends of ours.
Thanks to :
All the Sound Garden staff, past and present that came.
All our musician friends who came and are always happy to give us their support for these events.
Special thanks to Tony Ogundeyi for helping me pick up and move all the gear from the shop to the stage in the pouring rain, filming the entire proceedings and then taking it all the equipment back again at the end.
Thanks to everyone else who helped with setting up/ moving equipment and Louis O'Dell for lending us his Keyboard.
Special mention for Robin Kirkley for travelling the furthest (From the Midlands) and Phil Cleare (from Norfolk)
Mick Hutchens for jumping in at the last minute to help us with the Music school pupils when the singer dropped out due to illness.
The Builders arms for hosting us once again and doing a fantastic job in helping to keep live music going in the area.
Janet from Young Barnet Foundation and her colleagues for representing the charity and Zain for doing a great job selling raffle tickets.
We'll try and get some videos up soon.
Watch this space for future events we would definitely like to get back to doing something annually, but back to the summer I think!
