The gallery space is at last taking shape, won't be long before we are ready to have our first show! This is a comunity space for local artists and crafts people. Really excited to get this open so we can all enjoy the amazing art of local people! Please pop in to enquire, that said, we will be taking our summer break sometime in September so please check our website or phone first.

The Jam kitchen has been busy here at Hopscotch with new fruit and new recipes! Aronia berry is the latest addition with it's extremely high antioxident content and makes a delicious jam. It is native to America and not often seen growing here, but tucked away in Barnet it seems to be thriving and fruiting well.🫐🫐

It has been a joy to sell cake supplies and get to know all the local cake makers and be part of their cake creations, but the time has come to make way for change and new things.
We plan to remodel the area that was occupied by cake to make space for a little gallery. There are so many amazing artistic and creative people in Barnet and we would like to offer a space where their work can be displayed. We are still at the embryonic stage so all ideas welcome, but we have taken to leap of faith to turn a long standing wish into reality.

The Festival team is delighted to share the poster for this year's Barnet Medieval Festival on 6th and 7th June. We are deeply grateful to Turner - Artist for the wonderful artwork which depicts Lord Hastings, a key commander of the Yorkist forces and long-term support of Edward IV.
