It has been a joy to sell cake supplies and get to know all the local cake makers and be part of their cake creations, but the time has come to make way for change and new things.
We plan to remodel the area that was occupied by cake to make space for a little gallery. There are so many amazing artistic and creative people in Barnet and we would like to offer a space where their work can be displayed. We are still at the embryonic stage so all ideas welcome, but we have taken to leap of faith to turn a long standing wish into reality.

The Festival team is delighted to share the poster for this year's Barnet Medieval Festival on 6th and 7th June. We are deeply grateful to Turner - Artist for the wonderful artwork which depicts Lord Hastings, a key commander of the Yorkist forces and long-term support of Edward IV.

Congratulations to our wonderful students, Mia and Poppy, on their final curtain calls this Easter in the musical productions Matilda and The Secret Garden! 🌸🎭

For the ultimate Barnet Christmas present. Pick & Mix Jam. All made with local fruit here in the Hopscotch kitchen! Pick your jams and package in one of our boxes with labels and information booklet provided. Jams include blackcurrant, chili, blackberry, and rosehip, to name a few. Marmalade too, but not local fruit. Have fun building your unique jam box for that special person in your life 🍏🍓🍊🫐
