Hey folks, here's a random little Photo dump, mostly from the Birmingham guitar show. I just wanted to let you know, I'll be at the Bristol guitar show again on the 14th of April, though it may be my last big show for the year.

Now that I have a bit more stock again, I've been trying to play a bit more. My go to is always my semi-hollow Cygnus as it just feels like home (particularly as I don't have an amp onboard at the moment) but I'm particularly enjoying this 6 string bass now it is re-finished. I always liked the layout of it, with the three thumb rest options (thumb ramp, thumb carve and the side of the fretboard), the bridge was designed as a conduit for vibration between the body and the strings for a more percussive sound but it also makes for a very comfortable, hindrance free play, when using a plectrum. But since refining, the body and neck have been thinned, so it is far lighter, the neck feels like a neck, rather than a stone age club and the body sits in closer and neater when played sitting down.

This bass is on my Reverb, I'd love to see it go to a good home, but I'll be sorry to see it go!

I've spent a good amount of time on this bass. I wasn't happy with a lot about it, particularly the play and the finish. I spent a lot of time thinning out the neck and body. Now I am super happy with the play. The finish is better, and the setup is nicely tweaked. This feels like one of those instruments I could spend another month on and still feel like it needs more work, but wandering if I've just spent so long looking at it I've sent myself a bit insane. Good times.

I finally have some more stock up in my store, including this finished (again, finally) wee beastie! I've also added the 6 string bass and I will be adding some hand made picks once my brain stops spinning for a minute.
