“When has the bread stall EVER had anything left?!” 🤔 …

… said by a fellow stall holder and so true, it was strangely quiet yesterday, despite the gorgeous weather. Perhaps it was because of it? Anyhoo, we couldn’t fathom it!

So, a big thank you to everyone who did come. We love chatting with you at The New Inn Walton Market and very much appreciate your support ❤️

To my customers specifically … I didn’t ask everyone’s name, so I can’t thank you directly, but I am grateful and hope to see you all again next year x

I would just like to mention Judy and Bren, Barbara, and Vick - you were sooo lovely x

P.S. I forgot to take photos - oops - this is from October last year and blimey, I can hardly believe how much fuller my stall is now!

I’m back again on Saturday, it’ll be my last visit this year …

… and I can’t wait to catch up with The New Inn Walton Market regulars!

Also, I’m really looking forward to showcasing a selection of new items, some of which are pictured.

I know that for many market supporters ‘when robins appear, loved ones are near’ is an important sentiment, so I’ve had small (6”x8”) prints of my robin produced. They look lovely framed and could be the perfect gift, or a little affordable Saturday treat ❤️

I hope you can join us - if you can, come and say hello 😃

A much better pun …

Rather than ‘yappy Christmas’, as originally planned, I’ve used ‘dachshund through the snow’. It was suggested by my daughter-in-law Nicole and I love it!

This little fella, complete with Santa hat embellishment, will be available wef my next craft market (Saturday 3rd Oct) … more on this to follow 😄

Have I ever mentioned this …

On the back of my cards and mugs you’ll find: ‘from an original watercolour by Angie Jones’

… to show they’re special cards and gifts for special people and occasions 😊

I’m about to take a top-up supply of seal cards to Ebbing Tide Filey, hence my choosing this as the example 😃

New items …

… are available at heART of HANDMADE 😀

Do you remember the cute little dachshund I painted? You’ll find him on a fun birthday card and a lovely A4 print.

My popular blue-eyed cat now features on a greetings card wishing the receiver a “purr-fect day” (of course!).

And you can now let that special someone know that you think they’re “otterly great” with my cheery otter card ❤️

Also, I’ve re-stocked some of my most popular items, a couple of which had recently sold out (oops, sorry about that) 😊

I love hearing from customers …

… and I’ve just received this photo of the latest addition to a customer’s family - a large beautiful snake 😘

In the background there are two framed prints - of my chameleon and rainbow python - bought for Vikki by her lovely mum Roz ❤️

Vikki very kindly gave me permission to use her photo 😃

If at first you don’t succeed …

… chuck it in the bin and start again - and again - and again!

When I decided my next watercolour would be a hippo, I had no idea what I was taking on, it’s been a right old tussle!

… and I’m blushing typing this - I know I’m ever so lucky to have such insignificant challenges to tackle ☺️

Anyhoo, this is my final effort and I’m happy with him 😃

… and as you might expect, his card will say ‘Hippo Birthday’ 😊

Thank you …

… to everyone who visited my stall yesterday at Little Leaf Cafe. Gosh wasn’t it a hot day!

Oo and a special thank you to the lady who bought one of my new green tree frog tote bags; I’m thrilled you like it so much 😃

Debuting on Sunday at the Little Leaf Cafe craft market …

… a gorgeous green tote bag featuring my cute little tree frog.

Perhaps he’d be the perfect practical gift for a green-fingered friend?

If not, I have lots more colour and design combinations to choose from - come and say hi and have a peruse 😃
