I’m going to be helping out all day … or probably more likely, getting under poor Emily’s feet!

It’s a smashing place to shop, full of gorgeous gifts and treats and as for the yarn Emily stocks, oh my goodness, if you crochet or knit, you’ll be in your element!

P-p-p pick up a penguin …

Tomorrow’s a special Saturday …

In raptures over raptors …

Just look at this handsome young fella, I was mesmerised … by the bald eagle of course 😉

His proud handler brought ‘Cliff’ out of the falconry tent to meet me during a Medieval festival in Boppard, Germany.

It was such a privilege and one of many lovely road-trip experiences of the last two weeks ❤️

Fun fact … ‘bald’ is derived from the word ‘balde’ which historically meant ‘white’ and of course refers to the eagle’s head plumage.

I might have to add Cliff to my growing list of subjects for future watercolours 😊

Saturday’s The New Inn Walton Market and Sunday’s fête at Hooton Pagnell Village were great!

Oo and a special thank you to Jeff (Hooton Pagnell raffle stall) and two fête visitors - I very much appreciate you rescuing my prints after they were swept off my stall by one of several 25mph gusts of wind ❤️

The weather this weekend was, er, challenging! By Sunday teatime, boy was I ready for a sit down!

Lovely village, people and event …

Last year’s fete was fab (despite the weather) and it looks like this year’s is going to be soopa doopa!

I’m really looking forward to seeing Banda Na Rua perform …

‘A mass of percussion energy. A head-turning, foot-tapping sound that makes you want to dance!’

… I’ll definitely want to dance!

Oo and since last year, I’ve added new designs and items to my range - come and say hi and peruse 😃

What a lovely event …

Thank you to the Gristhorpe and Lebberston Village Hall committee and volunteers for your hard work, I know how much effort it takes to put on a Summer fair, especially in bonkers heat!

… and of course, a huge thank you to everyone who came along to support us today. It was lovely to meet and chat with you.

I’m very much looking forward to joining you again for the Christmas (I’m whispering this word!) fair 😁
