I’ve popped out the first of the winter edibles on the table this morning!

Lollo Rosso lettuce - a loose leaf, cut and come again lettuce, so you can keep picking outer leaves rather than harvesting the whole plant.

And also tasty mustard mix juncea which is a bit like a winter rocket! Peppery and adds a variety of colour to winter salads. We have have a selection of herbs!

Perfect to swap out - where summer crops have now finished 🌾

Freshly picked bunches of Dahlias
Now available on the table! 🩷

We also have some gorgeous asters ready to go in our perennial mix - not yet in flower! It’s a good time to plant into pots or borders as many other summer flowers are beginning to fade.

They produce a mass of dainty, daisy like flowers and are a wonderful late season source of nectar for bees and butterflies. 🐝🦋
