A bit of late post today and a little update from the other side of my work 🌿🐚

Some of you also follow my art shop, Wild Water Sands, as you know I have been thinking about its direction, and after some soul searching and my survey it’s now becoming

Saltmarsh & Linen!

Coast · Country · Home.

The name has a personal connection to the Essex saltmarshes, with room for my love of countryside cottages, natural textures and vintage inspired décor.

My prints and cards will remain part of the shop, with more artwork and home pieces joining gradually.

Ribbonaire Sands continues here with my wedding décor, stationery and keepsakes. Both shops are still me, creating from my home.

I’ll share more as Saltmarsh & Linen takes shape.

Good morning!

Wedding season may be starting to quieten down, but there are still plenty of beautiful celebrations being planned behind the scenes.

So I’ve added a little sale to my personalised oyster shell place names for anyone currently working through those table-plan details.

Each shell is individually prepared and personalised here in my little home studio. No two are quite the same ,which is exactly what I love about them.

They work as both a place name and a small keepsake for your guests to take home afterwards, and I can make them for everything from intimate tables to much larger celebrations.

If personalised shell place names have been sitting on your wedding list, now might be a good time to tick them off. 🐚

Today's job: sorting shells 🐚

Each one gets a good look before it's chosen. Some have soft pearly edges, some have beautiful ridges, and some have little marks of the sea that make them completely one of a kind.

It's one of my favourite parts of the process, because it's where every piece starts to take shape. 🌊

A new invitation suite is now live ✨

I’ve been working on something a little different for this one, a printable coastal suite with an arched invitation, oval details card, RSVP, envelope liner and two botanical cut-outs.

The cream rose can be layered over ribbon as a delicate finishing touch, while the sea holly can be used as an embellishment or threaded to create a matching tag.

Everything is edited in Canva, printed onto cardstock and cut by hand using the clearly marked borders. No Cricut or specialist cutting machine is needed, just ordinary scissors and a little time to enjoy putting it all together.

The soft sea-glass green, warm white and coastal blue make this a lovely choice for coastal, botanical or relaxed country-house weddings.

The complete suite is now available in my Etsy shop.
