Good Morning,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was busy but in a great way, with family and a boot sale on Sunday!

You may see a lot more designing happening at Ribbonaire Sands these days, but there is still plenty of this ⬇️ happening too!

Every shell order that leaves me has been prepared and finished by hand, whether it’s a handful of pieces for an intimate celebration or a much larger order for a full wedding.

And I think that’s one of the things I still enjoy most about making them.

A name on a shell might be a small detail in the overall planning of a wedding, but on the day it becomes part of a table setting, a place for someone special and, very often, a little keepsake they take home afterwards.

Over the years I’ve painted, personalised, packed and posted rather a lot of shells over the last few months and they’ve travelled to weddings and celebrations all over the UK and much further afield.

As Ribbonaire Sands grows into invitations, stationery, websites and planning products, the handmade side isn’t disappearing.

It’s simply becoming one part of a much bigger collection of things I can create for a wedding.

And there will always be something rather lovely about seeing a table full of finished shells waiting to be personalised!

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Friday!

Romantic florals, delicate script and a softer take on Regency elegance.

This new singular wedding invitation brings together wisteria, hydrangeas and garden roses in shades of lavender, dusty pink and sage green. The result feels romantic and traditional, but still light enough for a spring or summer wedding.

Available as an editable digital template, the invitation can be personalised in Canva with your own names, wording, date and venue details. It’s an affordable invitation-only option for couples who want to begin with the main invitation, with coordinating pieces being added to the collection.

Definitely Bridgerton feel!

Have a wonderful day and weeks ahead!

Good morning and Thursday already!

The weeks are definitely flying!

One of the biggest changes at Ribbonaire Sands over the last year has been spending much more time designing.

The handmade side of the business is still very much here. My oyster shell place names, favours, cake toppers and other coastal pieces are where Ribbonaire Sands began, and they continue to be an important part of what I do.

But working with so many weddings over the years has also given me lots of ideas for what else I could create.

So gradually, I’ve been building a digital side to Ribbonaire Sands too.

It started with wedding invitations and has grown into matching stationery, wedding websites and planning resources with more designs and products being added as I develop each collection.

What I particularly enjoy is being able to take one idea and build a whole wedding look around it. An invitation doesn’t necessarily have to stop at an invitation. It can become the RSVP, details card, signage, website and other pieces that bring everything together.

It means Ribbonaire Sands looks a little different today than it did a year ago, but the idea behind it hasn’t really changed.

I still want to create thoughtful details for weddings and celebrations, I’m just simply finding new ways to do it.

And I have to admit, I’m really enjoying seeing where this side of the business is taking me.

I hope you are too!

Just a little thank you today. 🤍

Ribbonaire Sands has grown and changed so much over the years, and I sometimes forget to stop and appreciate just how many people have supported me along the way.

To my followers who like, comment, share and continue to follow what I’m creating, to the customers who have trusted me to make something for their weddings and special occasions, and to my friends and family who have encouraged me through all the different stages of running a small business, thank you!

Every order, recommendation, kind message, share and bit of encouragement has mattered, particularly during the quieter times when running a small business can feel like a bit of an uphill climb.

There are lots of new things happening with Ribbonaire Sands at the moment, and the business is continuing to evolve, but I wouldn’t have reached this point without the people who have supported it along the way.

So today, no product to show and nothing to sell , just a genuine thank you for being here and for continuing to support my little business. It really does mean a great deal.

Have a wonderful Day!

Happy Tuesday!

How are you all today? Have you had rain or cooler weather yet? The cooler weather has been only slightly so far and if it has rained I have missed it! Have you had rain 🌧️

Today is also for couples planning a wedding by the coast or those simply wanting to bring those soft shoreline colours into their day.

I am now working through listing all my invitation sets so Hilary. One of my first is this coastal wedding invitation which combines powder blue and sandy neutrals with an understated watercolour landscape. It feels relaxed and romantic without leaning too heavily into a traditional seaside theme.

Available as an editable digital template, it’s an affordable way to begin your wedding stationery and personalise the wording for your own celebration.

Available now from Ribbonaire Sands. 🐚

Good morning,

I thought it was time to reintroduce myself particularly as Ribbonaire Sands has changed quite a lot over the last year.

I’m Jacqueline, and I started Ribbonaire Sands from a lifelong love of the sea, shells and the memories I have of being by the coast.

It began with handmade coastal pieces, taking something naturally beautiful and turning it into a keepsake for a wedding, celebration or special moment. Over time, those little shells became place names, favours, ring dishes, cake toppers and pieces that have travelled to weddings and celebrations much further afield than I ever imagined when I started.

But Ribbonaire Sands has been growing too.

Over the last year I’ve spent much more time designing, and the business is gradually becoming a combination of the handmade and the digital.

Alongside my shell décor and keepsakes, I now create wedding invitations and stationery, wedding websites and planning resources, with coordinating pieces designed to help couples carry one look and feel throughout their celebration.

I’ve loved being able to develop this side of Ribbonaire Sands. It still has the same foundations of the coast, thoughtful details and creating something personal , but now there is now so much more I can offer.

And there is plenty more currently sitting on my design desk waiting to be finished too.

So if you’ve followed Ribbonaire Sands for years, thank you for still being here. And if you’ve found me more recently, hello and welcome.

I’m looking forward to showing you much more of what I’ve been working on over the coming months.

Good morning & Happy Saturday!

A cooled day here today and a little cloudy! But very much welcomed and I can hear my garden almost breath a sigh of relief!

I’m hoping that we get the rain 🌧️ that is forecast too!

Today is showcasing a mood board, something I know brides love to do and I also like to do when I’m researching g new ideas! This was inspired by Mallorca or Majorca whichever you prefer and also coincidentally where I’m going for my holiday in a few weeks time!

Are you off on holiday this year if already been? I’d love to know for research !

Have a wonderful weekend!
