This morning as the day warms up, it makes one think of just over a week ago. Staying on the Lizard in Cornwall, lovely. Making charms this week using the blue beads had real summer vibes.

It was taken on the day I visited the shop to be interviewed. How exciting was that!

I think Hayley discovered I can talk craft for hours!
Stitch watched it all, but stayed out of the limelight.

Had wanted to show you more beaded charms this week, but time took over. Some are still in the making and will be on my page next week.

My holiday in Cornwall was restful and enjoyable. Took lots of photos too and hope to return that way another time.

The top photo is of Lizard Bay Lighthouse, looking across from Hounsel Bay. Believe it was comissioned way back in 1752.

The pale blue beads are mixed gemstones along with a mixed glass daker blue bead. Chosen slightly larger lobster clasps this time as more suitable for larger bag charm design.

Various things that happen in our lives that can often make one think more about others, as well as ourselves.

My business world began after a work life change a good few years ago…. I was then card and jewellery making mainly. Then after heart surgery and family support, some 12 years ago, other changes came. All this brings me to where I am now

I am passionate about my business and love what I do. My customers as well as those I meet on my journey are special to me.

More recently seeing the anxiety around us, wanted to create something that may help most ages. That is how my knitting of hugs began.

Already created charmed designs and adding the two together seemed right. A gift you can also send in the post as a surprise maybe?

They are loved by many already and I was recently told my hugs are a unique little gift, which made my day.

They are for me calming to knit and embroider, often taking more time than one might think. Hoping to pass on similar vibes to those who receive them.

Being cotton they are comfortable for hands to hold and easily fit into a pocket Also being pocketable you don’t have to show the world you may need them for a moment.

Hugs to me are my way of adding a little calm to life when it is needed and hope they will be loved by you too.

Over the weekend, promised you this week would be about my beads. It also beings in holiday memories to so share.

This is the view outside our hotel in Cornwall, and another of my knitting on the go.

Added seaside charms and bead colours of how blue sea looked at times during our stay. Would you like a holiday memory created in colourful beads? Let me know if you would as have lots of colourful beads in my crafting pot.

Charms on a cord could be added to a phone or if you belong to a knitting or sewing group... maybe they would say, these scissors are mine!

For yourself or perhaps a family member - Just charms make zipper pull clips for a bag, rucksack or purse. Also double up as stitch markers.

After lovely few days in Cornwall - ordered these yesterday after seeing them in the hotel we stayed in. Just arrived - cosy blankets - great customer service from Atlantic Blankets, Perranporth. Holiday memories complete.

It is amazing how just a few days away can make you feel quite different!

You see things in a different light sometimes and you notice things you would not normally notice.

Though I am joining in with a event by Hazel Tyrrell and not sure what that will bring amongst my designs will be brightness, beads and added sparkle.

Cornwall was away from it all, it was bight and I had a fun time.
Also was amongst my favourite places as well as with family.
