I was really hoping to share a few posts in the run-up to the 1066 Artist Showcase open day which is on tomorrow, 16th May from 11am–4pm,
at 15 Hollington Park Rd, St Leonards TN38 0SE

However unfortunately, time has completely run away with me — so instead, here’s a little taste of what I’ll be bringing along.

There’ll be a selection of garden stakes, alongside a range of handmade wooden home and kitchen products. I’ll also have current collections, samples and seconds-sale pieces, Father’s Day gift ideas, and some Hastings- and Rye-inspired creations.

I’ll be joined by four wonderful creatives showcasing and selling their amazing handmade jewellery, glassware, mirrors, and ceramics.







There will be Tai Chi with Liz Jeffries and beautiful plants to purchase from Michèle

And of course, there’ll be delicious freshly brewed coffee from , cakes, and plenty of creativity to enjoy throughout the day. And don’t forget to have a look around the beautiful garden too! Hope to see you there!

I feel very privileged to be invited as a guest artist at the wonderful garden event that has been organised by 1066 Artist Showcase.

The event will be on the 16th May
11-4pm – 2 weeks tomorrow!

Details of the event are below:
We are once again setting up in the beautiful ever-evolving garden of Liz and Alan Jeffries to showcase the work of resident artists Alison Purdy Glass and Mirror Designs, Berry Winter Designs (fused glass) and Jule Ellis/The Silvery (jewellery) as well as promoting Liz's Tai Chi classes and Michèle Duke and her Happy Place Garden Project and the delicious Smugglers Drop Coffee will also be returning! 😃

We will be joined this year by guest artists Esther Rhodes/Flolliepop Designs (wonderful olive and oak wood kitchenware and gifts and metal garden ornaments) and Jane Walsh and her stunning ceramics. 😍

You are invited to wander round the beautiful garden, enjoy refreshments and peruse all the beautiful creations on display.

Free Entry. However please note dogs are not permitted.

Rubbish, well recyclable rubbish, we love it here @ FlolliePop Headquarters.

All the packaging that we receive due to work & personal parcels, we try and recycle as much as possible, with using it to pack out the boxes and parcels of our orders.

Please don't worry, all our rubbish is completely clean and reusable and looks like new - but its just one little thing we do to try and help our beautiful planet.

With the Great British Bake Off on tonight I thought I would let you know about our new rolling pins.

They are the traditional style and made from solid olive wood.

All of our olive wood products are made from old olive trees that have come to the end of their life and have been replaced with younger, more productive olive trees.
