The story of a mother's love and care for her son in a violent household, it has been described as powerful and heart-rending but also tender and magic.

Available in the bookshop with £2 off.

We'll be meeting on Tuesday 21st July at 6.30pm in the bookshop to talk about it.

A reminder that we are still collecting old unwanted Children's Books for charity! They will find their way to kids without books who will really appreciate them.

From 23rd May to 20th June, we'd love your donations of new and used children's books. We're teaming up with The Children's Book Project, which will get your books into the hands of children who have few or no books of their own. The Children's Book Project is a registered charity that directly tackles childhood social, emotional and educational inequalities by gifting beautiful new and pre-loved books to children in our most under-served communities. This year the Children's Book Project will gift one million books across the UK. Help us share the joy of reading!
