Saturday was my birthday so I popped down to Alex Clark Lime Tree Gallery to see Lisa and Wellie and restock my rather depleted cabinet.

Great to catch up and get some sweet treats, less great breaking down on the way home and losing the car for the best part of the week 🥴

Today I leave for a little trip to Norway chasing the Aurora Borealis with my amazing friend Scribble and Patch. My Etsy shop and NOTHS shop are in holiday mode, but I’ll be back on the 2nd April so you can get any orders in.

Today is a day of reflection. For those of you who are new to HBAF or don’t know our origin story, this it it!

11 years ago today we said goodbye to the OG Freddie, my dad. His ropes and kit were the inspiration for the small business I created over 10 years ago now.

His beautiful, bright ropes became so many wonderful things. Some of you even have pieces made with HIS rope. I hope they brought you as much pleasure as they did him.

Today I want to give thanks to him for teaching me, supporting me, encouraging me and always believing in me. You’re my ‘why’ dad and I miss you every day.
