This Saturday, 30th May, we’re trying something a little different in Monkton… 🍕

We’ve been thinking about doing this for quite some time now, and it finally feels like the right time to give it a go.

We’ll be doing a small pizza night from 5pm till 7pm — just a relaxed trial run for our fellow villagers to see what you think.

Numbers will be limited while we test things out, so once they’re gone, they’re gone. We’d genuinely love your feedback if you come along — what works, what doesn’t, and whether it’s something you’d like to see more of locally.

Hopefully see a few familiar faces on Saturday 🍕

Absolutely buzzing to have won 2 Silver awards at the Scottish Bakers Awards yesterday 🥈🥈

Silver for our plain croissant and silver for our empire biscuit — two customer favourites!

So nice to spend the day surrounded by so much talent. Scotland’s baking scene is unbelievably strong just now and we’re really proud to be part of it.

Big thanks to for putting on such a great event.

And a huge massive congratulations to for being reigning champions for a third year running 👏 (bows in baker)

Biggest well done to the whole Buns and Crumbs team too. Everyone works so hard and I’m really proud of what we do together every day 🫶🫶🫶

Here at Buns and Crumbs we take great pride in making each product with care and attention to detail. Our sourdough bread is crafted by our skilled bakers during a 48h long process and each of our rolls is hand rolled to give you that rustic feel we all love.
We are so happy you love our bread just as much as we do and we can’t wait to experiment with more flavours and get creative🫶🏻

Just taking a minute (while running on about 3 hours sleep and a dangerous amount of coffee ☕️) to say a massive thank you 🤍

Honestly, the support over the past few months has meant everything. Every time someone pops in, tags us, or leaves a lovely Google review — it gives us a proper boost (especially on those early starts when the alarm feels personal).

Small business life isn’t always glamorous. It’s early mornings, long days, and occasionally questioning life choices while shaping dough before sunrise 😅 BUT… those little moments — your kind words, your reviews, your support — are what keep us going and remind us why we do this in the first place.

If you’ve had a good experience with us, leaving a review genuinely helps more than you think and keeps us going strong. And if something’s not quite right, please just come and chat to us — we’re always happy to help, fix things, and improve (we’re human, just slightly sleep-deprived ones).

At the end of the day, we’re here for you lot. Supporting small businesses like ours makes a real difference, and we don’t take it lightly.
