I’ve just finished my cobweb felt wrap from Saturday’s workshop at Midtown Makers.
I’ve called it “Wrack line” as my inspiration for this piece is the tides edge.
It has been made using a merino wool and silk blend with added embellishments of silk hankies, Margilan silk, yarns and Bluefaced and Wensleydale curls.

In this workshop you will create a light weight textured wrap using the wet felting technique.
We will work with wonderful merino wool blends and add long curls yarns and silk fibre and fabrics.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and more experienced felters.

It’s that time of year to revamp my stand at Midtown Makers shop. For April and May I’m going to echo our Tourist board tag line ‘Shaped by Sea and Stone” and display my pieces that have been inspired by our beautiful Atlantic Coast . I’ll pop up some images of pieces I have for sale there over the next couple of weeks. If you see something you like don’t hesitate to ask I’m happy to post. 😊
