Over 12,00 sq ft of antiques and curios. From an Irish Georgian Chest to mid century table and chairs. Industrial lights to Victorian Taxidermy. The shop is vast and has nearly anything, but if you can find what you are looking for it can be sourced or made. On the Square offers a sourcing service and also makes bespoke furniture, from a side table to complete bar/restaurant fit outs.

On 15 July at approximately 8pm, a trailer carrying our red phone box was stolen from On The Square Emporium.

The CCTV shows a silver 4Γ—4 and two hooded people. Do you recognise the vehicle, their clothing or anyone involved?

50/50? Gone.
Phone a Friend? Gone too... they took the phone box.
So we’re asking the audience!

We’re offering a Β£1,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the stolen items or the prosecution of those responsible.

In 2024, I was pleased to visit the former Dickson’s Garden Centre to meet the developers and to hear about their plans for a Β£5m investment into the site.

It is really positive news that the Council have backed these plans which would see the relocation of On The Square Emporium, an already successful business.

This proposal has the potential to restore a disused site, create jobs and unlock economic potential. This is an important example of the kind of regeneration that I want to see across Ards and North Down.
