I’m closing the business.
Not suddenly. Not dramatically. Just honestly
Right now, my future needs to be quieter - and it needs to be with my family.
For the last few months, I’ve been trying to do work I care deeply about without the mental, physical or emotional capacity my wonderful clients truly deserve. And I don’t like that version. It’s not sustainable, nor is it how I want to run my dream little business. I don’t ever want to let anyone down - especially those who trusted me with their homes.
I am so, so proud. I took the risk, and I absolutely loved every single second. But the universe clearly has different ideas for me - and who am I to argue.
I’ve also learned that two things can be true at once:
I’m deeply sad.
And incredibly grateful.
This business gave me the best opportunities (some I wish I could tell you about), experiences, friendships, and the most wonderful clients. You trusted me with your homes, your stories, your belongings and your lives - and that will stay with me forever.
So I’m throwing in the towel.
But don’t worry - I’m not letting it sit in a cluttered heap in the corner.
It’s going straight in the wash, dried, folded and put back in its home.
I don’t know what happens next - and I’m finally okay with that. I might keep this space and drop in with the occasional hit of inspiration (mostly to keep myself sane). I might return. It might look familiar, or completely rebuilt.
What won’t change? I’ll always be a chaotic mind chasing calm, unapologetically devoted to simple, clutter-free living. It changed everything for me - and I hope some of that found its way to you too.
My clients - thank you. Truly.
I can’t believe how busy you kept me, and I’m incredibly sad to say goodbye. Thank you for making this dream real, even if just for a little while.
Here’s to the very hard, but very right, decisions. I truly believe the right things unfold at the right time - even when we don’t understand what that looks like yet.
For now, hold those you love a little closer. Look after yourself. Always choose kindness.
