I need self-care, I need to stop taking on unnecessary risks/pressure, and I need to pay attention to anything that feels off without jumping to conclusion!

That's what I'm taking from the cards tonight. Tbh I am running on empty, I am trying to do everything all at once, but tomorrow I have from 9am until 3pm to myself. All the children are at school or childminders and I plan to do nothing, if my brain will let me 🤣🤣

I need to rest and recharge my own batteries. So a day in front of the telly with cups of tea is a must.. 😍 What do you do to fill your cup?

I cleansed my deck, gave it a good knock to wake the cards up, and asked:

“What do I need to know right now that I may not be seeing clearly for myself?”

🔮✨ I haven't touched my tarot deck in a while…

And honestly, yesterday I was feeling very odd. One of those feelings where you can't quite put your finger on what's going on, so I thought… right, let's check in. 🖤

I pulled two cards:

🗡️ Six of Swords — moving away from difficult or draining energy and heading towards calmer waters. Leaving behind what no longer serves you and allowing yourself to move forward.

👑 Queen of Swords — clarity, boundaries and truth. Trusting your own judgement, seeing things for what they really are and remembering that protecting your own energy isn't selfish.

And together? WOW.

It feels like a reminder that I'm moving through a transition, but I need to stop carrying old baggage with me.

The message I'm taking from this is:
“You've survived enough. Now start choosing yourself.” 🖤✨

Funny how sometimes you don't realise how much you need a little check-in until you actually do one.
