The Pearl PF-695E Dolce flute is a handmade intermediate flute. It features a solid silver headjoint (Forza cut), a silver plated body and keys and a pinless mechanism. The Forza headjoint enables superior projection, increased dynamic spectrum, unrivalled clarity of articulation and a dazzling rich tone. It particularly suits those wanting a more powerful, richer tonal quality.

Pearl are well known for their craftsmanship and ingenuity. The foundation of every Pearl flute is a patented Pinless construction, which eliminates the problems of traditional flute construction - protruding needles that snag clothing and give easy entry to perspiration and body acids causing corrosion and binding keys. Besides this unique pinless construction, Pearl flutes have additional bridge mechanisms that add strength to the entire mechanism.

This particular flute is offered in superb condition throughout with no dents or noticeable marks. The pads are lightly used and have plenty of life in them and we have fully serviced the mechanism ready to go. https://londonflutes.co.uk/shop/used-flutes-for-sale/altus-1807-al-flute/

This is a very special flute from Altus. The Altus 1807 (AL) flute, is a specially designed flute based on the historical masters such as Louis Lot. It uses the same method of a seamed tube, made from a flat piece of metal that is rolled, hand planished and then seamed. Inspired by the preferred metallurgy of the great French flute making tradition, Altus silver was designed specifically for seamed tube creation. This results in a flute capable of producing a wide array of complex tonal colors.

Altus flutes are renowned for being of the highest quality and Altus been hand crafting flutes for over 25 years. Altus flute maker Shuichi Tanaka and renowned British flutist William Bennett shared an admiration for Albert Cooper’s vision of updating and modernizing the traditional flute scale. They created the Altus Scale to provide effortless intonation, impeccably tuned harmonics, and exceptionally balanced registers, setting a new standard for flute design.

The Altus AL (Altus Limited) flute is the result of years of dedicated research comparing alloys. The 1807AL provides the flutist with brighter overtones and is extremely responsive at all dynamic levels. The metal of the flute is known as 'Altus silver' and is a perfectly engineered blend consisting of 94.6% silver and 18 precious metals, including small amounts of platinum and gold.

This particular flute is the rarer closed hole version with split E and C foot. It is offered in excellent condition with light surface scratches only. The pads have been replaced and the flute has been completely serviced and adjusted ready for sale. The tone holes are soldered with gold solder and the rods are made of pure silver (0.997).

Current retail for this model is approximately £11,500 and a very rare find, especially for the closed hole version. Typically these flutes are ordered as open hole models and so this is perfect for anyone who struggles with the open holes for whatever reason.
