This is what it looks like when the whole range works together.

Two things people underestimate when planning a bathroom.

The first is storage. Everyone plans the shower and the vanity, nobody plans where the towels and the spare shampoo and the twelve half-used bottles actually live — and then it all ends up on the windowsill. The Elvia tallboy is full height and narrow, so it takes almost no floor and holds a genuinely surprising amount.

The second is matching. Because the tallboy and the 950 vanity are the same range, you get the identical white finish, the identical diamond texture at the identical scale, and the same chrome handles. That consistency is the difference between a bathroom that looks designed and one that looks accumulated. It costs nothing extra to get right — it just has to be decided at the start rather than the end.

The rest: deep petrol-blue vertical fluted tile on the feature wall, pale oak-effect porcelain on the floor, and the Odessa slider in chrome.

Symmetry, marble, and a lot of brass.

Some bathrooms are designed to be calm. This one is designed to be impressive, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Calacatta Viola is the star — creamy white with dramatic burgundy-plum and gold veining — book-matched behind the vanity so the pattern mirrors itself. Below dado height it drops to fluted white plaster panelling, and the floor is honed marble chequerboard. Twin arched brass mirrors, three brass sconces, everything paired and
centred.

The furniture is the Elvia 1200 double vanity in white, and the shower is the Odessa 800 quadrant in gold — tucked into the corner where its semi-frameless glass stays out of the way of all that veining.

One genuine piece of advice: never choose marble from a hotograph. Every slab is different, and the one you saw online isn't the one that turns up. It's worth the trip to look at it properly.

Everything removed that didn't need to be there.

A single-colour room is one of the hardest things to pull off. Take the contrast away and there's nothing left to hide behind — every proportion and every surface has to be right on its own merits.

What makes this one work is texture doing the job colour normally does. Hand-polished charcoal tadelakt on the walls has soft tonal movement in it. The teak slat wall gives you rhythm. And the Elvia 600 in black — black handles, black basin, raised diamond drawer fronts — is the piece that catches the low afternoon light and gives the eye something to land on.

The Odessa 900 quadrant in matt black finishes it. Matt, importantly, not gloss. Powdery rather than shiny, so it recedes instead of drawing attention.

Genuinely one of the calmest rooms we've put together.

Hard sunlight is the cheapest upgrade a bathroom can have.

We spend a lot of time talking about tiles and taps and not nearly enough about light. A scheme like this — warm terracotta microcement, pale terrazzo floor, a recessed arched niche — is pleasant in flat light and genuinely beautiful when direct
sun rakes across it.

Chrome is the finish that benefits most. Matt black absorbs light and gold warms it, but polished chrome throws it straight back at you. The Odessa 900 quadrant in chrome in a room like this doesn't just sit there; it catches.

And on size — the jump from an 800 to a 900 quadrant sounds like nothing on paper. It's 100mm. But it's 100mm in the direction you actually notice, and it's the single most common thing people tell us they wish they'd done.

Two basins. One less argument every morning.

If you've got the wall for it, a double vanity changes how a bathroom actually functions — not in a luxury way, in a Tuesday-at-7:40am way.

This is the Elvia 1200 in matt white with black handles, and it's the piece where the diamond drawer detail really earns itself. Across 600mm it's a nice texture. Across 1200mm it becomes the feature of the room.

The rest of the scheme is board-marked concrete walls with smoked oak herringbone on the floor — because concrete on its own goes cold fast, and warm timber underfoot is what rescues it. The Odessa slider in matt black holds the shower as one clean line against all that grey.

The bathroom equivalent of a very good hotel bar.

Hand-made zellige tiles are never quite uniform — the glaze pools differently on each one, so a whole wall of them shifts as the light moves across it. In deep forest green, with brushed gold against it, you get something that feels considerably more expensive than the material cost suggests.

The furniture is the Elvia 600 in black with brushed gold handles and legs, and a black basin. Gold on black is one of those pairings people talk themselves out of and shouldn't.

One practical note, because it matters more than it sounds: this is the Odessa sliding door, not a hinged one. In a room this densely styled, a door that swings outward eats the space you were relying on. A slider runs along the opening instead. If your bathroom is on the tighter side, that single choice buys you more usable room than
almost anything else.

Small bathroom. Not a compromised one.

Most small bathrooms don't feel small because of the measurements — they feel small because of the corners. Every sharp edge you have to walk around costs you more perceived space than it does actual floor area.

That's the argument for a quadrant. The Odessa 800 x 800 has curved glass, so there's no corner to navigate, and the semi-frameless design means you're looking through it rather than at it. Paired with the compact Elvia 600 vanity in white with chrome
handles, pale grey microcement walls and small oak parquet on the floor.

It's an en-suite. It just doesn't behave like one.

Black on black on black. No apologies.

Dark bathrooms are the ones people are most nervous about and most pleased with afterwards. The trick is texture — if everything's dark AND flat, it falls in on itself. Get some texture in and it comes alive.

Which is exactly what's happening here. The Elvia 950 in gloss black has raised diamond drawer fronts, so every facet catches light at a slightly different angle. Against book-matched Nero Marquina marble and the matt black Odessa profiles, that texture is what stops the whole thing reading as a black box.

Worth mentioning the shape too: this is the offset quadrant, 1200 x 800. A standard quadrant gives you a small square to stand in. The offset gives you a proper full-width shower while still tucking into the corner — genuinely one of the best space decisions you can make in a normal-sized UK bathroom.

Matt black is one you really want to see in person — photos flatten it. We're in Birmingham, B11 2LQ, and there's always someone about to talk it through.

Warm stone, soft morning light, and just enough gold.

There's a version of gold that shouts and a version that just quietly warms everything up. Brushed gold against honed travertine is firmly the second kind.

This is the Odessa semi-frameless quadrant in gold — curved 8mm glass, slim profiles, no bulky frame breaking up the view. Paired with the Elvia 950 vanity in white, with matching gold handles and legs, and those raised diamond drawer fronts that catch the light differently depending on where you're standing.

Odessa comes in gold, chrome and matt black. Elvia in white or black, with chrome, gold or black handles — so you can take this in a much warmer or much cooler direction depending on your tiles.
