It feels rather fitting to be sharing my Under the Sea bunting this week... 🐳🐙🐠

I'll be heading off on a little family adventure by the sea for a few days, and after lots of lovely recent orders, I'm looking forward to spending some quality time together before the busy autumn season begins.

Don't worry though—I've got plenty of posts lined up while I'm away, so I'll still be popping up here with some Little Luna Creations inspiration.

Meet the newest member of the woodland gang...

Hazel Squirrel has officially joined Felix Fox and Daisy Deer!

You might recognise Hazel from some of my behind-the-scenes posts while I was tweaking her design. She definitely went through a few changes before I was happy with her, but seeing her here with Felix and Daisy makes it all worthwhile.

I think they're looking rather at home together, don't you?

And this little woodland gang isn't finished yet...

I can't wait for you to meet the rest of their friends!

Sometimes the perfect fabric isn't on the website... yet!

I already have over 35 fabric designs available for my personalised book bag wraps, but every now and then I get an email from someone asking if I can find a particular theme or character for their little one.

And if I can, I’m always happy to see what I can do!

These are a few recent bespoke requests that I've been able to accommodate, and I absolutely love being able to create something that feels a little more personal and just right for the child it's made for.

So if you've had your eye on a particular theme and can't see it in my current fabric selection, drop me a message and ask! You never know what I might be able to find. 😊

Creative progress doesn't always look tidy...

Today my desk is covered in woodland prototypes, thread and lots of little reminders that designing is all about trying, tweaking and trying again.

I love seeing all these little characters together. Looking back at the first prototypes reminds me just how much they change before they're finally ready to join the collection.

Messy desk... happy designer! 🥰

"Are they nearly finished yet?" 🥰

The woodland gang have been patiently waiting while their newest friend is stitched out... although I'm not sure how much supervision they're actually providing!

Watching a new character come to life is one of my favourite parts of designing. From an idea in my head, to stitches on the screen, to a little embroidered friend ready to join the collection.

Today's office... and I can't complain. ☀️

One of my favourite things about working from home is this view from my desk. The gorgeous oak tree outside is the perfect inspiration—especially when I'm creating woodland characters!

Today's companion is a little badger who's slowly coming to life on my embroidery software...

Now it's time to turn those stitches into something real!

I'd love you to meet... Daisy Deer!

Daisy is the newest little character to join the Little Luna Creations woodland collection, and I couldn't be happier with how she's turned out.

She looked so at home amongst the trees that I couldn't resist taking her outside for a little photoshoot...

And yes... I have officially become the person who takes tiny embroidered deer out on their dog walks! 😂

Designing these woodland friends has been such a lovely creative journey, and I can't wait to introduce you to the rest of the gang.

One of my favourite parts of running Little Luna Creations isn't just designing and making the products... it's packaging each order with care.

Every parcel is wrapped in tissue paper, finished with my logo sticker and includes a handwritten thank you note because I want each customer to know just how grateful I am that they've chosen my little business.

I've recently swapped my plain grey mailing bags for these beautiful teal ones, and it finally feels like the outside of the parcel reflects the Little Luna Creations brand just as much as what's inside.

I hope every parcel brings a little smile before it's even opened 🥰

Slowly but surely, another woodland friend is coming to life...

Sometimes it all starts with the smallest details.

These antlers have taken a little bit of tweaking, but seeing a new character gradually come together is one of my favourite parts of the design process.
