Hello, and thank you for joining me on my journey. My name is Charmain and I love making things that bring others joy. โค๏ธ Over 20 years as a graphic designer has made me realise that being in creative overdrive is pretty much my default mode โ๏ธ, but rather than look for an off-switch, I chose to embrace it and naturally broadened my horizons to include handmade craft. For ma
ny years, opening a gift shop has been one of my biggest dreams. My other lifelong wish is to travel into space ๐, but I think we can all agree that for now it's best to start from the ground up! โจ
Like many sellers on Etsy, crafting began as a hobby for me. Initially, all I wanted to do was add a few personal touches to presents for friends and family ๐ but pretty soon I was bursting with ideas and many Blue Peter moments later, Cocoon UK was born. ๐ฆ
I did a very brief trial run before Christmas in 2015, and all my items were quickly sold out. After a prolonged hiatus due to other commitments, I am now back again to re-launch my shop. ๐ As you can tell, I am still very new to running a business and for the time-being, can only produce a small volume of stock (though I plan to introduce more products, including digital ones, very soon), so please be patient and bear with me! ๐
Perhaps my castle is just one of the multitudes already in the sky... Perhaps my shop won't take off at all, but I'd still like to think I've put a smile on a few faces. ๐

UK SHIPPING INFO
Standard delivery costs may not include tracking or insurance. Please note that unless you have opted for the shipping upgrades, this store will not bear responsibility for any missing/damaged parcels, though every attempt will be made to liaise with the courier. With regards to multiple orders, items will sometimes have to be packaged separately due to restrictions in parcel size. Unfortunately, this is determined by the various delivery services used. FREE LOCAL DELIVERY
Free delivery is available for some FY postcodes (close to Bispham/North Shore). Please send me a message so we can arrange a suitable time for your order to be dropped off. ๐
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Worldwide delivery is available for most products even if prices are not listed. This is due to modulation in rates from country to country. Please contact me so we can decide on the best route for you. CUSTOM & PERSONALISED ORDERS
To allow enough time for customisation, please message me within 2 days. If no specifications are provided in that time, the order will be despatched unpersonalised. PRODUCT MAY VARY SLIGHTLY FROM IMAGES
As I can currently only produce a small volume of stock, there may be some challenges in getting hold of materials and ingredients that don't affect larger businesses quite as much (particularly in light of recent circumstances). Due to this, suppliers have to change from time to time, so there might be small variations in items from their images. For instance, a bag may be a slightly different shade/size, or a jar may have a different shape etc. Furthermore, as many items are created by me rather than factory-made, no two will be exactly the same! However, all care will be taken to ensure these fluctuations DO NOT affect the overall style/vibe of my products, and they will be put together with the same loving attention as always. Please contact me with a picture of damaged product (along with packaging if applicable), and I will do my best to resolve the situation. SHOP ETHICS
Where possible, ingredients are sourced from ethical suppliers that do not support animal cruelty (however my shop is not certified). I am also a strong supporter of sustainability, so most packaging is either biodegradable or at the very least suitable for reuse/recycling, but please check with your local Council if you are unsure about what they will collect.
