A stunning handcrafted Sheffield Steel Carving set comprising of carving knife, carving fork and sharpening steel. Handles made from ethically sourced Red Deer Stag Antler from Kinloch Rannoch in the highlands. Handles are all made from the same piece of antler to ensure a match. The carving fork had a lovely ergonomic curve that fits neatly in the palm of the hand. The knife and steel are adorned with highly polished 3 billion year old Lewisian Genesis from The Isle of Lewis. An amazing statement piece. Available in my MadeMe Shop.

Hand crafted Sgian Dubh made from ethically sourced Red Stag Antler from the wilds of Kinloch Rannoch in the Highlands of Scotland. The antler has an unusual shape and distinctive markings. The end of the antler shows where it fell from the pedicle during the shed. Simple but elegant.

Suitable to be worn with day or evening highland dress. A real talking point.

Hand crafted Sgian Dubh made from ethically sourced Red Stag Antler from the wilds of Kinloch Rannoch in the Highlands of Scotland. Capped with a highly polished garnet of Scottish Jasper and Celtic embossed leather scabbard. The antler has amazing marking on it.

Suitable to be worn with day or evening highland dress. A real talking point.

It was a pleasure to make this in the sunshine today. A lovely scotch whisky oak barrel lid flight with ethically sourced antlers handles. The oak has an amazing patina and the wax finish shows off some of the original barrel markings a treat. Teamed up with a Speyside 15 Year Single Malt from Robertsons of Pitlochry.

The Wee Stag ventured into the heart of the Cairngorms yesterday and met up with Jim Shankland of Rannoch Antlers for an ethically sourced resupply. Some lovely shapes on the antler where it’s parted from the pedicel during the shed. Amazing to think they are all one years growth. Great seeing you again Jim and thanks for the cuppa and chinwag. See you soon.
