The wait is finally over... our brand new Opal Flakes are launching!

Meet Twilight and Gilded Grove, joining the ever-popular Gilded Mermaid that so many of you fell in love with in the recent Resin Ritual Boxes. These flakes are absolutely mesmerising, shifting through multiple colours and creating the most beautiful, velvety effects in resin.

We've also heard your requests loud and clear... 💚

If you've been desperate to make more charcuterie boards after completing your Gathered by the Tide Resin Ritual, we'll be uploading the engraved boards too, so you can create again and again.

As for the other exclusive Resin Ritual goodies... you'll need to hang on just a little longer! We always like to give our wonderful Resin Ritual members first dibs on their exclusive products before releasing anything else. We think that's only fair. 💕

Your hands are your most valuable tool as an artist... please look after them. 💚

One of the biggest mistakes I see online is people using isopropyl alcohol (IPA/ISO) to clean uncured resin from their skin. Please don't.

Isopropyl alcohol strips away your skin's natural protective oils and increases the permeability of the skin, making it easier for chemicals to pass through. If you've got resin or other craft chemials on your hands, that's the last thing you want.

Instead.....
✨ Wipe away excess resin first.
✨ Wash thoroughly with warm soapy water
✨ Or use our Create & Bloom Hand Scrub, or even a little sugar mixed with hand soap, to gently lift resin from the skin without being overly harsh.

Healthy skin is your first line of defence. Once your skin becomes dry, cracked or sore, it becomes much easier for resin to irritate it, and sadly, the resin often gets the blame when it's really damaged skin that's the problem.

Protect your hands, wear gloves whenever possible, and treat your skin with the same care you give your artwork. 💚

Resin drips? What drips? 👀

Those cured resin drips ruining the edges of your artwork? Not for much longer.

In this video, I'll show you a simple technique to remove resin drips from almost any flat resin artwork, whether you're working on wood, aluminium, acrylic, plastic, canvas panels, or similar surfaces.

I'll guide you through the process step by step, including a few important safety tips: ✨ Always wear a respirator when heating resin or if solvents have been used. ✨ Take care not to burn your fingers. ✨ Avoid touching the freshly warmed edges, as fingerprints can easily mark the softened resin.

Once you've seen this technique, you'll wonder why you ever sanded them the hard way!
