There’s a bikini, some enthusiastic cocktail shaking, and there are b***s. Somewhere amongst the video, I actually make a lovely Espresso Martini using our Double Shot Coffee Liqueur and coffee from ☕️

Today’s coffee has ended up everywhere except in my mug.

A sign that I should stick to putting Goldstone Espresso into Double Shot instead 😂🍸

Thankfully, one lucky person will soon have four bags of Small Batch coffee to make a much better job of it than I have, along with a bottle of Double Shot, a cocktail shaker and a pair of martini glasses!

Sometimes it’s nice to get out of the distillery and back to where it all began 💚

A gorgeous wander up on Devil’s D**e with Rolls and the girls, and a reminder of just how much this beautiful area of Sussex is part of our story.

It didn’t just give Devil’s D**e Distillery its name. Back when we were much smaller, we’d head up here during lock down to forage some of the botanicals that found their way into our gins 🌿🍸

Rosemary, milk thistle, and elderflower… we’ve picked, snipped and foraged our fair share from around these beautiful Downs over the years.

These days we’ve grown a little 😂 and a lot more of our botanicals come from our own distillery garden, including our gorgeous pink elderflower 🌸

But Devil’s D**e is still where the name came from, where some of those first botanicals came from, and is lovely place to spend a Bank Holiday with my little family 💚🐶🐶

Double Shot Coffee Liqueur is BACK! And to celebrate its rather delicious return, we’ve once again teamed up with the brilliant Small Batch Coffee Roasters to give one lucky winner the ultimate coffee and cocktail prize.

THE PRIZE

1️⃣ A 250g bag of Small Batch Coffee Roasters’ Goldstone blend

2️⃣Three additional 250g bags containing the individual coffees that make up Goldstone

That’s 1kg of coffee altogether and the chance to taste Goldstone completely deconstructed. Sample each coffee individually, then discover how they come together to create the finished blend.

REMEMBER WHEN COFFEE LIQUEUR ACTUALLY TASTED LIKE COFFEE LIQUEUR? ☕️🍸

Rich, boozy and full of real coffee. Not overly sweet, watered down or weak.

Well… you asked, so we’ve brought it back!

DOUBLE SHOT is made using cold brew coffee from the brilliant Small Batch Coffee Roasters, then lightly sweetened with our homemade espresso syrup, because one shot just wasn’t enough.

At a respectable 21% ABV, it’s bold, beautifully smooth and makes one hell of an Espresso Martini.

Coffee. Then coffee again. ☕️☕️

I’m heartbroken writing this. 💔

Last year, we made Dolly Parton’s Dirt Road Martini, taken from Good Lookin’ Cookin’, the cookbook she wrote with her sister Rachel.

It was our little way of raising a glass to a woman I have absolutely adored for years.

Today, I’m raising that glass again. Just for a very different reason. 🥃💔

There really was nobody quite like Dolly.

The music, the rhinestones, the humour, the incredible songs that echoed on the walls of the distillery… but more than any of that, her warmth, generosity and the enormous amount of good she put into the world.

She was unapologetically herself. Funny, kind, clever, outrageous, glamorous and just damm fabulous.

So tonight the Dirt Road Martini deserves another outing.

Not as a promotion. Not to sell anything.

Just to raise a glass to Dolly. ❤️

Thank you for the music, the laughter and the rhinestones.

I will always love you. 💔

Rest easy, Dolly. ✨
