✨️The kiln opening this morning was pure magic!

These pieces were created while on holiday in Sennen Cove, using speckled buff and black clay to capture those exact coastal tones. I am so in love with how these natural hues turned out. They will be available for sale at the The Artisan's Den this week!

Final tiles completed, loving each little piece of art ❤️

So many different textures in my garden and such colour... these beauties will go in for their bisque firing soon. Then its on to the glazing before the final firing.

I think this one maybe a keeper... loved every fiddly moment ❤️

☀️Do you ever give yourself a summer project?

I haven't for quite a while... life has a way of speeding by. But this summer, I've been searching for the perfect way to display my ceramic botanical tiles, and after finding a few lovely old printer trays, I'm slowly creating a little collection of tiles for each one.

There's something so mindful about selecting flowers and leaves, gently pressing them into the clay, and watching each one leave its own beautiful mark. Every texture tells a story, and after they're fired and glazed, they'll become a lasting memory of this summer.

I'm so looking forward to seeing the finished pieces... although I still have a little way to go. 🌿✨

Come and create a bud vases at this month's Mindful Makes session.

£30 per person which includes materials, refreshments, tuition and to firings.
