There’s so much more to a “positive mindset” than thinking your way out of it. When the conditions for that individual are not there it’s like saying just be less hot, when the sun is beating down 40 degree heat 🥵

With time, work and and potentially things in a persons life changing for them they can achieve a more positive outlook on things, but we can’t just tell them too and it happens.

King’s Centre for Military Health Research - Veterans’ Mental Health Conference 2026 ✅

Yes we’ve not posted around mental health awareness week this week. has been out doing and learning. The week started with delivering some mental health discussion groups for a large construction company in the city.

Capped off with an enlightening day at Kings College listening to the greatest minds in the research community for veterans mental health presenting findings on their latest research; covering a range of topics from novel PTSD therapy methods, links between treatments for alcohol use disorder alongside a common mental health disorder, ai’s role in treating poor mental health and psychedelics to name a few.

It’s always helpful to remember that while wellbeing doesn’t have to be complicated, it’s not as simple as just being simple. (Bit of a mouth full)

Those basics done well often take a lot of commitment, knowing the best course of action and implementing it are two different things.
