Recently I've been experimenting with mixed fibres when weaving. Here I've used a mixture of willows; flanders red, Brittany green, and whissender, but have also added some thick 100% cotton. I'm very pleased with the combination.

Wonderful day spent with these three lovely ladies. Three super baskets made and lots of laughter. A lovely day, thank you.
If you'd like a go at basketry all our workshops are now full up for 2026. But 2027 list will be released soon.
Alternatively we do have spaces on the willow flower basket course.
