Watching the D-Day anniversary commemorations today really hit home. So many of those who served us so bravely are no longer here to tell their story. One of my main motivations behind launching Life Tales was because I wished I had recorded my own grandfather's accounts of serving in Malaya. Looking way beyond what our small little business does, we all have the power to document our family history today but as each year passes there are fewer people to talk to about WW1, WW2, the Holocaust, any significant events. It's really important to do it while we are able so future generations have first hand accounts and those moments in time are not lost.

Telling your life story isn't aimed at being a sombre reflection. What I love about 'Life Tales' is that we use your audio autobiography as a celebration. It could be to mark a significant birthday, a landmark wedding anniversary, maybe even your retirement.

Speaking to couples has also been a great experience, sharing your story together is a great way of re-living your most cherished memories (and we have had some hilarious anecdotes!).

DECEMBER: Fri 1st / Mon 4th / Tue 5th / Wed 6th / Thu 7th / Fri 8th / Mon 11th / Tue 12th (recordings will then be suspended so edits can be completed in time for Xmas)
