A very exciting moment for Isabelle.

She will be attending her very first book event in Buxton on Friday 12th June as a young published author for her book Gary the Racehorse Who Couldn’t Gallop.

At just 9 years old, Isabelle wrote, illustrated and published the book herself, inspired by her love of ponies and storytelling.

She is so excited (and a little nervous!) to meet people, talk about her book, and hopefully inspire other children to follow their ideas and creativity too.

If you are local, come and say hello and support a very proud young author on her first book event adventure.

I’ve been meaning to share this one and I just know I’m going to cry writing it all over again. 🥹
A few weeks ago was Grove Pony Club’s Presentation Evening and honestly it was one of those nights I will never forget as long as I live. ❤️
Isabel was awarded Junior Newcomer of the Year 🏆
Junior. Newcomer. Of. The. Year.
This girl who started her pony journey just over a year ago with Bertie — nervous, learning, figuring it all out — was recognised by her Pony Club as their standout newcomer of the entire year.
I was absolutely overwhelmed. 🥹
But THEN — as if the night couldn’t get any sweeter — her little sister Meme got a rosette too! 🌸
Two sisters. Two rosettes. One very proud mum who definitely didn’t ugly cry in front of everyone. 😂❤️
To everyone at Grove Pony Club — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The encouragement, the coaching, the community you have built around these children is something truly special. 🙏
And to Isabelle — you have worked so hard for this my darling. Every early morning, every nervous moment, every time you took a deep breath and just went for it. This award is yours. Every single bit of it. 🏆🐴
We are so excited for everything that’s coming next for Isabelle & Bertie. Something tells me this is just the beginning. ✨

Last week Isabelle and her sister Meme headed to the Grove Pony Club Easter Rally for a day packed full of fun — and Isabel absolutely made the most of every single second! 🌟

First up — her very first NO HANDS jumping session. 🙌

I had my heart in my mouth but she absolutely flew round with the biggest grin on her face!

Then came the Gymkhana — and she only went and won the quickest round and bagged herself an Easter egg as her prize! 🍫🥚

Watching Isabelle and Meme at Pony Club together is honestly one of the greatest joys. These moments are everything. 🥹❤️

I don’t even know where to start with this one. 🥹

On sunday, my 9 year old girl Isabelle and her pony Bertie competed in their very first ever Pony Club Eventer Trial.
Not just anywhere.

At Burghley House. 🏰

One of the most iconic equestrian venues in the entire world. The home of one of the greatest horse trials on the planet. And my little girl rode around it yesterday for the very first time.

I watched her walk the course. I watched her nerves. I watched her take a deep breath, give Bertie a pat and just go for it.
And she won. 🏆

🥇 30cm Assisted — WINNER

🥉 40cm — 3rd place

First ever eventer trial. First ever time competing at Burghley. And she came home with a win and a 3rd. One year ago she would let me take the lead rein off

I ugly cried. I’m not even ashamed. 😭❤️

This journey with Isabel and Bertie has been the most incredible thing to watch.

Every lesson, every nervous moment, every time she’s pushed through the fear — it has all led to this.

To every pony mum and dad following this journey — hold on to these moments. They grow up so fast and these days are everything. ❤️

Thank you to Burghley Pony Club for an incredible event and to everyone who cheered her on. You have no idea what it means. 🙏

Last week Isabel & Bertie headed to Winters Equestrian for their very first ever cross country schooling session — and I genuinely had tears watching this one back! 🥹

She started off nervous. Properly nervous. And by the end? Flying through the water, popping over logs and grinning from ear to ear. 😍🐴

This is exactly why we document this journey. These moments of watching your child push through the fear and come out the other side absolutely flying — there’s nothing like it. ❤️

We're thrilled to announce that Isabelle is hitting the road! 🚗💨 Join us as she sets up her very first stall at the Staying Alive Charity Event this Saturday, July 27th, at the beautiful Waterfront Country Park.

✨ Isabelle has been crafting her delightful soaps, bath bombs, and bracelets with love and creativity for over a year, and now she's ready to share her wonderful creations with all of you in person.

🛍️ Come support her small business, Dragonfly Boutique, and enjoy a fun-filled day for a great cause. We can't wait to see you there!
