Syncopate is back. Turns out rebuilding your entire shop and printing process takes a minute. But we are now back - with a brand new website, new products and a completely new way of doing things and before anyone asks - dungatees will be back, but not just yet (more about this later).

The biggest change to Syncopate isn’t actually the new website.

It’s how your clothes get made.

We’ve stopped trying to be designers, printers, warehouse staff and the Post Office all at the same time, and moved our production over to TeeMill.

There are some pretty big benefits to doing things this way - for us, for you and for the amount of stuff we have to keep sitting around waiting for someone to buy it.

More on those soon.

But most importantly, we get to concentrate on making Syncopate… Syncopate.

Rebuilding a new site and changing my print process/supplier is taking a long time. But here is a little update.
First batch of samples have done a 3 month test run and still wearing beautifully. This is a second batch of samples trying some different shapes of tee and tbh I’m in love with this relaxed fit - it has split hems and a rolled sleeve. Also finally trying out a semi cropped boxy fit too after many of you have asked. Also I have some brand new designs coming when I relaunch end of the summer.
Time to order the next sample….hoodies and long sleeved tees….

If you wear dungarees, you’ll probably know this annoyance.

You find a graphic t-shirt you love.

You put your dungarees on.

And suddenly half the design has vanished behind the bib.

I realised most graphic tees aren’t actually designed with dungaree wearers in mind, which felt a bit odd considering how many of us practically live in them.

So I made Dunga-Tees.

The artwork sits higher on the chest, the neckline works better under straps, and you can actually see the design you’re wearing.

A weirdly specific solution to a weirdly specific problem.

I’m moving Syncopate towards a made-to-order model, and some Dunga-Tees will be taking a break for a while, so if you’ve had your eye on one, now’s probably a good time.
