Your fern has turned brown. Is it dead? Probably not. 🌿

Some hardy ferns stay green through winter. Others naturally die back, rest, and return with fresh new fronds in spring.

The important bit? Don’t be too quick with the secateurs.

For non-evergreen ferns, wait until early spring and remove the old fronds as the new growth begins to appear.

Save this before your autumn garden tidy-up.
