Fairies!!! Today I could quite happily pull their tiny wings off…
I was at Haverhill Makers Market today and planned to make some ‘Vanda’ bracelets to restock the website. People like to see a maker making, and it helps pass the time if it’s a slow market. Last night, I chose the beads and packed everything safely for an early start this morning.
Normally, I just ignore the ‘tangle fairies’ once they’ve been through all my stock and made a right mess. It doesn’t seem to matter how carefully I pack up after a market — everything somehow manages to be tangled again when I set up at the next one. However, today they really excelled themselves. Obviously, their performance reviews must be due, and they needed a quick win…
I got to the market, set up while battling the wind, and started unpacking my tools and beads… DISASTER! They had opened the box and all the beads were at the bottom of the bag, I swear I could hear those little fairies laughing. Needless to say, the beads stayed exactly where they were!
If they try this again at Sawtry market tomorrow, I will hunt them down and evict them!
Who says crafting is relaxing…?
Anyone else have mischievous making fairies in their workspace, or is it just me?
