What an amazing day we had at the European Cultural Heritage Festival 2026 in Peterborough! 💛💚❤️

The festival was filled with incredible music, vibrant dances, fun games, beautiful crafts, delicious local foods, and, most importantly, wonderful people coming together to celebrate our diverse cultures and shared heritage.

It was heartwarming to see so many communities supporting one another, sharing traditions, making new connections, and creating lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, joined in the celebrations, and helped make this event so special.

We are proud to be part of such a welcoming and inspiring community. Until next time! ✨

I’ve been working on something new at Baltic Amber Studio ✨

Our new handcrafted Baby Teething Amber Bracelets & Necklaces are finally here 💛

I really enjoyed making this little set and absolutely love the unisex ombré look created with five different colours of Baltic amber. Every piece is handmade with care and finished with a secure barrel screw clasp.

Simple, natural, and beautiful for both boys and girls 😊

Restoration complete ✨ and I truly enjoyed every step of the process!

Here’s how this beautiful amber necklace was brought back to life:

• Step 1: Carefully removed the old thread and one damaged, split amber bead
• Step 2: Gently cleaned using lukewarm water and a mild detergent, then left to dry
• Step 3: Added a new amber-colour barrel screw clasp and rethreaded the beads on fresh 0.8mm double waxed thread using a traditional knotting technique
• Step 4: Attached the second part of the barrel screw clasp – and it’s done!

Look at that shine ✨ Amber is delicate and can chip easily, so working with it is always a careful task—but not a single bead was damaged during the restoration.

The necklace remains the same length, now refreshed, secure, and absolutely beautiful again 💛

Here’s a beautiful necklace currently in need of a little TLC — it’s being carefully rethreaded with traditional knotting after a few amber beads went missing. Each piece we restore is treated with patience and care to bring back its natural beauty and strength.

I’ll be sharing a photo once the repair is complete so you can see the transformation!
