A year ago today, Dave Little opened the preorders for An Endless Search… ⚓️📖

What followed was a proper journey.

Books arriving on doorsteps up and down the country… then finding their way onto barrows, bivvies and banksides beside steaming kettles and carp rods. The sort of thing every fishing author dreams of seeing.

Because An Endless Search was never written to be polished corporate carp fishing nonsense.
It was written from the heart.

A raw and honest account of Dave’s path from a young lad learning the ropes around Welwyn Garden City to becoming one of the Ouse Valley’s most recognisable river carp anglers. Floodwater, blanks, old mirrors, forgotten pits, friendships and obsession… all stitched together through the pages of a book that captured what campaign fishing really feels like.

And what made it even more special were the contributors around him.
The people who shared the journey, the bankside moments, the captures, the photographs and the memories along the way 🤝

A year later and the book still means something to people.
That says everything.

Proper good angling literature stands the test of time… and An Endless Search earned its place on plenty of anglers’ shelves.
