Just wanted to address some gossip that’s been circulating in the UK Jellycat Facebook community groups recently 👀😂
There have been accusations that I “backdoor” sold Vinted items in order to relist them on my website. To be completely clear — this is not true.
My business operates fairly and ethically, and I would never build it off the back of other people’s cancelled sales, bad experiences, or misfortunes. Everything I sell is sourced legitimately, with a lot of time and hard work going on behind the scenes.
Honestly, Jellycat collecting should be fun, enjoyable, and something that brings people together — not something that leaves a bad feeling or turns into the latest episode of Jellycat Gossip Girl 😭
I completely understand people wanting transparency, which is why I wanted to address it directly and move on positively. I truly appreciate everyone who continues to support my business and the lovely community that exists when people are kind to each other 🤍
