Morning all. Hot on the heels of 'Inferno' from , we have another brilliant dose of psychedelic ambient electronica from Pye Corner Audio, with the new album 'More Songs About The Sun'. Just the other day I was chatting to Alex Tutt about Orbital's 1996 LP 'In Sides', and this puts me in mind of that masterpiece from the off. Includes contributions from Andy Bell and author Ian Rankin ☀️👏

We have a few copies of the indie exclusive Summer Solstice vinyl, and they'll be in the shop from this Thursday ✨️🧙🏽‍♂️🐖🎶

So some of you may know that for the past few months we've been working on a fanzine all about a weird & wonderful place called Carshalton. Well, I picked up the draft copy this morning, so it will soon be released into the wild. Here's a sneaky peek at a few of the things contained within.

There are features on Machines of Loving Grace, the Straw Jack, CAOS and Carshalton Jazz, interviews with Danny George Wilson and and we chat to the man behind Carshalton Stories too. Plus spooky tales and historical imaginings among some brilliant pieces from members of , along with some fantastic artistic contributions, all from local artists.

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed and helped in any way, you know who you are 🙏🙏👏👏

Pond Life will be 'officially' launched and available from the shop on Saturday 27th June from 12pm - which just happens to be the opening day of Carshalton Festival 🌞🎶



Copies are £3 each and any profits made will be donated to local charities.

Happy Sunday everybody. We're open 'til 4 today, and aside from this one we have thousands of non-football related records & CDs available too, as always. And contrary to my post yesterday, it isn't Fathers Day today, so you still have a week to pick up a record or two for your pop, plus one of Carshalton Stories brilliant Dad's Day specials.
