Repair Completed 🔧

Replaced a failed water inlet valve/dispenser assembly on a Whirlpool top-load washer. Customer reported water-fill issues. Installed a new OEM part, tested operation, and the washer is back up and running.

Customer called me out to inspect their gas installation as they were in the process of selling their home and required a gas safety certificate.

Following a full inspection, I advised that the existing installation did not meet current Gas Safe regulations. As shown in the first photo, the LPG tank was positioned too close to an open window, an air brick, and a manhole cover, creating compliance and safety concerns.

We agreed on a new, safe location for the tank. I then removed all of the old pipework, installed new pipework, and carried out the necessary setup, testing, and safety checks to ensure everything was fully compliant and operating correctly.

A satisfying day’s work, and most importantly, another happy customer! 👍

💡 Before you replace it, get it checked!

We recently received a call from a customer whose tumble dryer had stopped working. They were looking for advice on purchasing a new machine, believing their old one had reached the end of its life.

With traditional vented and condenser tumble dryers no longer widely available due to EU regulations, many customers are being directed towards heat pump dryers, which can cost significantly more.

Rather than rushing into an expensive replacement, we offered to inspect the existing appliance first. The result? There was absolutely nothing wrong with the tumble dryer! The fault was simply a defective wall switch.

Any gas cookers are gas hobs fully installed. Also services too if you notice any issues highlighted by this post?
