There’s a lot of new people now following our page so we thought it was about time we did an intro into who we are!

Meet the RJ Motorsport family 🫶🏼

RJ Motorsport is owned by husband-and-wife team Josh & Anna Smith, but it takes a whole crew to keep the wheels turning!

🏎️ Josh – former race driver, motorsport lecturer, published author, and Radical expert. You’ll find him hands-on in the workshop and supporting customers trackside at every event.

📋 Anna – the organisational powerhouse behind RJ, handling everything from accounts and logistics to event catering and keeping the team and drivers fuelled with bacon butties!

🔧 Jord – our Race Team Manager and part of RJ since day one. Taught by Josh, he knows Radicals inside out and keeps the workshop and race weekends running smoothly.

⚙️ Joe – our Welsh race mechanic with a Master’s in Motorsport Engineering. A key part of the team both in the workshop and trackside.

🚀 Rudi – the newest member of the team, learning the trade hands-on while continuing his motorsport studies and developing into a future race mechanic.

👦 and of course, our team mascots, Ruben & Elliot, are already motorsport mad and can often be found helping around the paddock when they’re not playing football!

Ben Higgs scored his first podium in the Radical Club Challenge at Silverstone.

The former Citroen C1 racer from Essex took a pair of third place finishes over the weekend in Class B in an SR3 RS.

What a fab weekend at Silverstone National for the second round of the 750mc Radical Club Challenge. 5 RJ drivers out and all made huge progress in testing on Friday with a decent finish for all drivers in race 1. Race 2 was disrupted by a safety car leading the pack for 3 laps which bunched everyone together and left only 55 seconds to go! Sadly 2 of our drivers didn’t finish the race due to racing incidents.. Silverware however for Ben and Phil and so many happy faces this weekend. What a team 🫶🏼 Round 3 at Anglesey at the end of June, let’s go 💨🏁
